In Bathinda, Hararangpura village, this couple has celebrated their 100th anniversary. Bhagwaan Singh is 120 years and his wife’s name is Dhan Kaur, aged 122 years. Recently both of these celebrated their 100th wedding anniversary with family. However, according to official documents, Lord Singh is 118 years old. These ages are written on their Aadhar card.
His birth date on Aadhar card is January 1, 1900, but according to his claim, he was born in 1898 and his wife Dhan Kaur was born in 1896. There is no proof of his age due to his birth before independence, but his claim seems right after seeing the age of his children and listening to the elderly of the village.

Lord Singh and Dhan Kaur have five daughters and one son. The eldest daughter is 90 years old, while the youngest son is 55 years old. Because of lack of awareness, she could not enter the Guinness Book of World Records. The long rule of life is to stay away from drunkenness, plain food, and hard work till the age of 100. Bhagwan Singh’s son Natha Singh says that the birth of his father was in 1898. His life mantra is eating plain food with an addict less life from the beginning.
Natha says that of course, his father is not able to speak properly, but he has worked in fields with his mother until the age of 100. He often becomes dissatisfied with the partition of 1947. He always kept positive thinking. This is the fourth generation of the family.
There are 12 people in the family at this time. Bhagwaan Singh and Dhan Kaur look after the fourth generation. Son Natha Singh, whose wife, two sons, two daughter-in-law and four grandchildren are granddaughters are in the family.
