Texas police are searching for a group of adolescents who attacked two 7-Eleven store workers for refusing to give a female underage a cigar. To learn more, keep reading.
What Actually Happened?
According to Fox News, the event happened at the 7-Eleven on Faithon P Lucas Boulevard on Saturday around 9 p.m. According to the Mesquite Police Department, an individual who was in the store at the time of the incident recorded it. Additionally, the police have urged anyone with knowledge of the event to get in touch with them. A girl entered the 7-Eleven and requested a cigarette item. Following an argument with the cashier, the customer departed. But when the girl returned, she brought several other young children who got into a fight with the shopkeeper. Some of the young people went over the counter and attacked the clerk as the situation heated up.
They may also be seen hurling things at the staff in the footage.
7-Eleven Store Workers Were Injured
The group also attacked a second cashier who was inside the store and tried to step in, according to the police. The store employees both had facial injuries, but neither required transportation to a hospital for treatment, the police said.
Police Investigation
The cops spoke with a few witnesses who claimed to have seen the kids arrive in a silver Dodge SUV. In this case, there have been no arrests by the police. They also do not own the footage that is becoming viral on social media, but they have validated that it does indeed show the altercation at the 7-Eleven.
