Yogi Adityanath set the new trend by distributing school bags with previous Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav Photo.
Usually the ruling party won’t allow other parties schemes and won’t distribute anything with their photo.
Before the election, Akhilesh’s photo and the symbol of Samajwadi Party were printed on large number of bags. The officials didn’t distribute the bags after BJP won a thumping majority and Yogi Adityanath became the chief minister as they were afraid that the current BJP leadership in the state will not allow distributing bags having photographs of Akhilesh.
However, Yogi Adityanath has allowed the distribution of more than 35,000 schoolbags having photo of Akhilesh Yadav and symbol of Samajwadi Party.
He considered the state resources and future of the children of Uttar Pradesh more important than politics.
The selfless ‘Yogi’ who is beyond ego thought for the welfare of his subjects and allowed the distribution of the bags for two very important reasons. One is to save public funds which were already spent in the bags, and is to ensure the students did not face any delay in receiving school bags at the start of the new session.
When he was asked the reason for distributing, he said, public funds would have wasted as lot of money spent on manufacturing and procuring the bags.
The Uttar Pradesh state basic education department has directed officials of 23 districts to resume the distribution of more than 100,000 schoolbags.
Bareilly BSA Chandana Ram Iqbal Yadav said, “We had received nearly 35,000 school bags with pictures of Akhilesh Yadav . However, as the model code of conduct was imposed in the state in January , we could not distribute them. With the change in regime, I had written to the government to seek their directions on what to do. “
However, the directions from the “top” were to distribute all the bags without any delay.
Kudos to you sir! You set an example to all other political parties.
