Some babies earn gifts as soon as they open and see this world for the first time through their small and beautiful eyes. And this baby boy who was born in Ola cab got the best welcoming gift.
The 21-year-old Ishwari Singh Vishwakarma’s expected delivery date was given on October 24, but early Monday she suddenly started experiencing labor pains and her husband ordered a cab to take her to the nearby Kamla Nehru Hospital.
During the drive, Vishwakarma’s pain kept increasing and couldn’t hold the baby in any longer and ended up delivering a baby boy on the backseat of the cab while they are on the way to hospital.
“The entire trip was an anxious experience. I never thought I would help deliver a baby in the line of duty,” said the taxi driver, Yashwant Galande.
In addition to this good news, the mother received another gift from Ola.

Ishwari’s husband said that his brother and mother were with his wife in the cab while he was riding a motorcycle on the way to the hospital.
“After travelling four to five kilometers from home, I got a call from my brother informing me about my wife delivering in the cab,” he said.
On Thursday, the day they were discharged, Ola sent the same driver to pick up the woman and her son as part of a goodwill gesture.
