"Dogs are man's best friend" and their loyalty are not hidden from anyone and every new day they keep on setting new examples of their love and loyalty.
This time it was man's best friend from Doberman species gave up his life to save eight members of his masters family from four poisonous mountain Cobras. This incident is of Sebekapur village of Gajapati district under Raygada block around 400 kms from Bhubaneswar.
During late Monday night, Dog was guarding at the entrance gate when he saw four snakes trying to sneak into his house. Without thinking about his life, Doberman started fighting with all four snakes like a saviour for his family. Fight was so fierce that blood can be seen all over the floor. This brave dog killed all four snakes but soon he died due to the poisonous effects of repeated stings by the snakes.
Dog was belong to Dibakar Raita who was shocked with this incident. He became very emotional while speaking to the news reporters "He has made the supreme sacrifice for me and my family. I will remember him till our death. I pray God – May his soul rest in peace,”
Many people from nearby village rushed to the village as the news spread. Villagers laid floral wreaths on Doberman's body, did all the rituals before burying the body.
Sebakpur village located on a foothill and surrounded by shrubs. During monsoon village experiences many reptiles and wild animals from the local hills sneaking into houses, fields and sheds.
These innocent creatures only needs our attention and love and in return they can give up their life for you. Every animal lover will feel sad after reading this incident.
