The finals between India and Bangladesh had everyone stuck to their chairs in front of their TVs today. The Indians had lost all hope for winning this match until Dinesh Karthik struck the winning six on the last ball. Today was an important day for all the Indian cricket fans. The final match of Nidahas Trophy had every cricket lover’s attention today. And since Bangladesh performed well in this series, the fans were hoping for a great competitive match. And their hopes came true.
Although the performance of Bangladesh has been well for quite some time now, everyone thought that India would easily win the final match. But that was not the case. So Bangladesh lost the toss and batted first, giving an easy target of 167 runs to win. Indian team started on a strong note. But the run-rate dropped drastically after the 13th over. While after that Manish Pandey’s wicket and a maiden 18th over by Mustafizur Rehman crushed all the hopes of a win for the Indian team.
But the game wasn’t over yet. Karthik came to bat next and India needed 34 runs in 2 overs. Hence it almost seemed impossible but Karthik made it happen. While he scored 22 runs with help of some sixes and fours, bringing a little bit of hope back to the Indian fans.
But India still needed 12 runs in the final over.So with a wide ball, a dot ball and just a single on the next ball, India needed 9 runs on 3 balls. The task seemed difficult. But with Shankar’s four and an amazing and almost magical six by Karthik, India won the final match by 4 wickets.

The game was a nail-biter till the end but the marvelous performance of man of the match Dinesh Karthik saved the day for Indian cricket fans and brought Nidahas trophy home.
