AVICII Found Dead in Muscat, Oman. He was suffering from pancreatitis and retired from world tours in 2016 due to health Issues.
Demise Of One Of The Best Talent
Yes, as devastating as it may sound but the “Wake Me Up” and “Levels” fame Avicii is no more. According to the representatives he was found dead in his apartment at Muscat Oman, the cause of death is yet to be revealed.
Avicii who was just 28 was already suffering several health issues, he had pancreatitis and went through an operation to have his gall bladder and appendix removed. He also had a severe drinking issue.
Illustrious career
Avicii whose real-life name is Tim Bergling became a huge success just when he entered the music Industry with his big hit “Levels” in 2011 which became a profound sensation in short time.
Two years later “Wake Me Up” was released and the fans went head over heels for Avicii. His world tours were the most wanted ones and tickets sold out in seconds for Avicii.
Emotional Issues
In 2017 due to several hospitalizations and health issues, Avicii had to stop the world tours. He said “None of us today can fucking handle our emotions – most of us are running around being reactive,”
“That’s why I had to stop touring because I couldn’t read my emotions the right way.”
“The whole thing was about success for the sake of success. I wasn’t getting any happiness anymore.” We all hoped what he did was for his own good. Although the reason of death is yet to come out.

Now that he is now among us anymore, the whole music industry is in a deep sorrow. David Guetta who is a good friend of Avicii wrote “Something really horrible Happened. We lost a Friend with such a beautiful heart and the world lost an incredibly talented musician. Thank you for your beautiful melodies, the time we shared in the studio, playing together as DJs or just enjoying life as friends.”
You WIll Be Remembered
Avicii’s most recent work was a six-track EP Avīci (01) released in 2017 was nominated for Billboard Music Awards for top dance and electronic music category. Avicii on 17th of April sent out a tweet to billboards thanking them for the nominations.
