Royal Challengers Bangalore mopped out Kings XI Punjab in Match 48 of IPL 2018. The RCB bowlers put the KXIP batsman in the pressure in the beginning. The KXIP batsman failed to build any strong partnership and they chronically lost the wickets. Their inning ended after 15 overs on a score of 88 runs. The score was easily chased by RCB without losing any wicket.

Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and they decided to bowl first. In the first 4 overs, KXIP had a decent start but Umesh Yadav sent back both of the openers in the fifth over. After the powerplay overs, KXIP had lost 3 wickets on just 47 runs.

After the powerplay overs, the RCB bowlers continued dominating KXIP batsmen. They took wickets after wickets and after in 15.1 overs, they mopped the entire batting line of KXIP. Umesh Yadav was the most successful bowler in RCB. He took 3 wickets by giving just 23 runs in 4 overs.
RCB Batsman Took The Team To A Flying Start
Chasing the target, the RCB batsman did not give any opportunity to KXIP bowlers. Virat Kohli and Parthiv Patel made the KXIP bowlers pay. They were all over them in the powerplay overs. RCB scored 66 runs in the first six overs of their inning.
RCB Registered The Perfect Victory
The RCB openers continued smashing the ball away and they led the team to a strong victory by 10 wickets in just 8.1 overs. Virat Kohli smashed 48 runs in just 28 balls including 6 fours and 2 sixes. On the other hand, Parthiv Patel scored 40 runs in 22 balls including 7 fours.
