This World Cup is in the exciting phase. With six teams are in the race to the semis, the contest is at its peak. The only team who is undefeated in this tournament is India. Yesterday, New Zealand lost their first match of this World Cup from Pakistan by 6 wickets. Today the Match 34 of the World Cup was between India and West Indies in Manchester, the same ground where India defeated Pakistan in this year’s World Cup. India continued their winning streak as they won the match by 125 runs and inches towards semis. While West Indies got knocked out of this World Cup. Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first.
1. India’s Watchful Start
As we have seen in this tournament, India starts carefully. The same thing happens in this match. Rohit Sharma got out on 18 on a controversial decision on Kemar Roach.

Virat Kohli along with KL Rahul anchored the innings for India. Virat Kohli scored his fourth consecutive half-century, showing why he is the no.1 batsman in the World. The duo put together 69 run partnership. KL Rahul missed his half-century by 2 runs and got out on Jason Holder.
The middle order was the concern for India as Vijay Shankar and Kedar Jadhav didn’t do much as they got out on 14 and 7 respectively. Virat Kohli became the fastest player to reach 20000 runs.

With this win, India’s chances for reaching to the semi-finals are almost certain as they have to play their next games against England, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. With the kind of form India is, they just need to win one match out of three.
Nasser Hussain the former England Captain asked Pakistani fans on Twitter about who will they support in a match against India vs England. The response from the fans is mind-blowing.
