Xiaomi has launched its most awaited mobile Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro in India today. Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a Quad camera display. Check out the specifications and other details of both smartphones.
Redmi Note 8 Specifications
Redmi Note 8 comes with 6.3 inches dot-notch display with 90 percent screen to body ratio and thin bezels. It has a back fingerprint. Redmi Note 8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 and has 4000 mAh battery and also supports 18W fast charging. The fast charger is inside the box. It has a USB Type-C port. The speakers of this phone are 40 percent louder as it uses Smart PA technology. One thing to note is this Redmi Note 8 is also splash-proof and dust-proof. It has dust prevention nets that ensure that speakers don’t collect dust particles. Redmi Note 8 has Quad camera setup at the back with 48MP primary sensor, 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth camera for Portrait modem and 2MP macro lens. It also supports night mode for low-light photography. Talking about the front camera, Redmi Note 8 has a 13MP selfie camera with Portrait mode, AI beautify, and AI scene detection. Redmi Note 8 has a dedicated memory card slot with up to 512GB micro SD support. Redmi Note 8 comes in four colors Space Black, Neptune Blue, Moonlight White, and Cosmic Purple.

Redmi Note 8 Pro features a big 6.53-inches dot notch HDR display with a 91.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back just below the camera setup. This phone has 3D curved glass display. It runs on the Mediatek G90T gaming chipset and supports liquid cooling for heat dissipation. Talking about colors, Redmi Note 8 Pro has Gamma Green Color which has a textured finish at the back with diamond cut grade texture. It also has Shadow black color and the Halo white one. White color reflects the seven rainbow colors as the light hits the back as it has different layers that are compressed at the back. Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 4,500 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging, the charge comes inside the box. Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 64MP main camera sensor and Xiaomi claims it as the highest resolution on a phone camera. The image sensor has f/1.7, which provides the maximum resolution of 9248×6936. The other three sensors are 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth camera for Portrait modem and 2MP macro lens same like Redmi Note 8. The selfie camera comes with 20MP. The best thing about Redmi Note 8 Pro has, it is India’s first phone with Alexa built-in technology. Redmi Note 8 has a 2 + 1 card slot with up to 512 GB of microSD support.
Prices
Redmi Note 8 comes in two variants. The price of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is INR 9999. For 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, the priced at INR 12,999.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro has three variants. The basic one with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option will cost INR 14,999. The second 6GB RAM and 128GB variant priced at INR 15,999 and the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant will cost INR 17,999.
