Shilpa Shetty
Shilpa Shetty is a determined and ambitious woman, who managed to succeed in everything she gets involved with, from being a fitness expert to being a successful businesswoman. Over the years, Shilpa has definitely kept busy. She does also venture out into completely different industries – she has launched her own perfume brand and bought a stake in the IPL team Rajasthan Royals. Most recently, she has furthered her involvement in the hospitality industry by investing in Chronicle Beach Club in Goa. She has been instrumental in changing the venue from being predominantly a nightclub to concentrating on providing a healthy and varied menu to visitors throughout the day.
Lara Dutta
Lara Dutta became well-known as a former Miss Universe and a Bollywood star. Now, she has become successful in the business world as well. Lara launched her own skincare brand “Arias”. The brand aims to address the skincare needs of women and is based on Lara’s experience in the worlds of film and modeling. “Arias” was launched in partnership with Health & Glow which gives it a good chance of developing a foothold in the retail market.
Preity Zinta
Preity Zinta diversified from her career as an actress to produce “Ishkq In Paris”. Since then, she has taken steps to secure success outside of Bollywood. A major step into the business world came when Preity became co-owner of Kings XI Punjab in the IPL. She was the first woman to do so as well as being the youngest IPL owner. This is an impressive entrepreneurial achievement for the well-known Bollywood star.
Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen is a former Miss Universe who is also famous for her Bollywood roles. Away from the big screen, she has succeeded in developing a career as an entrepreneur. This includes the launching of a production company Tantra Entertainment. Sushmita Sen also owns a jewelry retail business in Dubai as well as a chain of hotels and spas.
