Smartphones have taken such a significant place in our everyday lives that the choice between a good one that works flawlessly and a bad one with numerous flaws can completely change your experience. While most smartphones have something positive to offer, the greatest ones strike the ideal mix between hardware and software, providing enough processing power and simple usability. The greatest smartphones are all-rounders in every way. The top 10 best-selling smartphones in 2022 on the list are those running Google’s Android or Apple’s iOS.
According to Counterpoint’s Global Monthly Handset Sales Tracker for April 2022, Apple topped the list of the five best-selling smartphones globally, followed by Samsung and Xiaomi with four and one models each. The top ten smartphones accounted for 21% of the total smartphone market.
1. iPhone 13
The iPhone 13 is still the most popular smartphone in the world and continues to defy all predictions. It is without a doubt the most widely used smartphone among users worldwide. It is at the top of the list, with a 5.5 percent market share in April 2022. With a few exceptions, such as the back cameras being larger and positioned diagonally, the iPhone 13 has a flat chassis similar to that of earlier Apple models. For the majority of consumers, the iPhone 13 is the best iPhone due to its better display, longer battery life, and more potent cameras.
2. iPhone 13 Pro Max
The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the market’s second-most popular smartphone, accounting for 3.4 percent of the market. It uses the same six-core Apple A15 processor as the rest of the iPhone 13 range, but with the addition of a fifth GPU core. It is resistant to splashes, water, and dust. The outstanding cameras, 120Hz display, and longer battery life of the iPhone 13 Pro Max make it essentially the ideal smartphone. It essentially accomplishes everything a smartphone might be expected to do.
3. iPhone 13 Pro
The iPhone 13 Pro ranks third on the list, with a 1.8 percent market share in April 2022. One of the most powerful smartphones ever made is the iPhone 13 Pro. The iPhone is a beast with a brilliant display and amazing cameras, despite the increased camera hump. Nearly all of the essential features between the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are shared. The OLED Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology, the A15 Bionic chip, 5G connectivity, a “pro” camera configuration with 12MP Ultra-Wide, Wide, and Telephoto lenses, a LiDAR Scanner, and a variety of colors are all shared by both devices.
4. iPhone 12
Apple also holds the fourth position. A market share of 1.6% is held by the iPhone 12. The six-core A14 Bionic processor from Apple, which has a cutting-edge neural engine, powers the iPhone 12. The three internal storage capacities are 64, 128, and 256 GB. The iPhone 12 has a stunning look, complete 5G capability, excellent cameras, and powerful performance. Black, blue, green, red, and white is the five color options for the iPhone 12.
5. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G
With a market share of 1.5%, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G ranks fifth on the list and is the first non-Apple phone. It is an upgraded version of the Galaxy Note that includes a speedier S Pen, numerous camera enhancements, a brighter display, and faster charging. Samsung has seen great success by fusing the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series.
