All 10 IPL franchise has submitted their list of retained and released players ahead of the IPL auction for IPL 2023. IPL mini-auction will be held on December 23 in Kochi. Mumbai Indians have released 15 players, with Kieron Pollard announcing his retirement from the IPL. Punjab Kings have released their captain Mayank Agarwal and made Shikhar Dhawan their captain for the next edition. Sunrisers Hyderabad has also released their captain Kan Williamson. Talking about the purse remaining, Sunrisers Hyderabad has the highest remaining purse of Rs 42.25 crore, followed by Punjab Kings and Lucknow Supergiants with a purse of Rs 32.2 crore and Rs 23.35 crore, respectively. Also, teams will also have extra Rs 5 crore to spend at the auction. Here is the full list of released and retained players by all IPL 10 franchises for IPL 2023.

 

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad has released 12 players before IPL 2023. Kane Williamson and Nicholas Pooran are the biggest names released from the squad. SRH are in need of a captain and also some solid middle-order players to boost their batting.
