Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated the Lucknow Super Giants and earned a significant away victory. Following RCB’s win over LSG, Kohli, and Gambhir got into a heated argument. This is not the first altercation between Kohli and Gambhir. The two were also present for a heated discussion in 2013 when Gambhir was captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders, and Virat Kohli was the leader of RCB. We have already gone through what was the reason for the fight between Virat Kohli vs Gautam Gambhir in a recent article. If you have not watched it, you can watch it here.
RCB Shared A Dressing Room Video Post Match
The bowlers were in control of yesterday’s pitch, which was playing slowly and low. But Virat Kohli, a former captain of the RCB, was the one who turned up the temperature and ignited the blaze. He was motivating the audience and was animated. Following this heated post-match altercation, RCB posted a video from the locker room. ‘If you can give it, you got to take it. Otherwise, don’t give it, roars Virat Kohli. “That was a sweet win, boys, Sweet Win lets go,” says Virat Kohli post-match. The team is seen singing the victory song after their ‘Sweet Win.’ Here is the video:

In the most recent Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Faf du Plessis’ team prevailed with an 18-run win. However, the game was marred by a brawl between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir.
Virat Kohli Instagram Post After LSGvsRCB Match
After the match, Virat Kohli wrote a mysterious story on Instagram that begins, “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. So likewise, everything we observe is a viewpoint, not the reality.
What Happened?
Kohli got into a fight with Naveen-ul-Haq of the LSG during the interval between the 16th and 17th over. Amit Mishra of LSG was called upon to step in during the altercation, but he found himself in a confrontation with Kohli. Mohammed Siraj, a pacemaker for the RCB, too gave off a negative vibe toward Naveen.
The Afghanistan bowler was visibly angry as he awkwardly shook hands with Kohli following the game. KL Rahul, the LSG captain, made an effort to mediate the argument between the two. But Naveen appeared unwilling to speak with Kohli.
When the match’s final few overs came around, there was an altercation between Kohli and Gambhir that resulted. As a result, all three individuals received significant fines from the IPL for breaking the Code of Conduct.

Naveen received a 50% fine, while Gambhir and Kohli each received a 100% fine on their specific match fees. The incident generated a great deal of controversy. It became the focal point of the game, obscuring RCB’s outstanding bowling performance.
Virat Kohli Vs Gautam Gambhir IPL 2013
This wasn’t the very first time Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir had a fight on the pitch, though. After KKR captain Gambhir gave Virat Kohli a fiery send-off during the RCB vs KKR game in the 2013 IPL at the M Chinnaswamy, the two Indian players came up against one another.
The perception that Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir don’t get along well was rekindled after Gambhir’s enraged outburst in Bangalore following LSG’s victory earlier this season. However, both of them were seen embracing one another, suggesting that everything was fine between the two seasoned athletes. But things in Lucknow deteriorated once more.
