The Incident
According to reports, the train’s engine caught fire owing to a burning in the battery box, causing the train to come to an emergency halt.
The popular footage showed individuals attempting to put out the flames while passengers waited outside the train. Moreover, there were no reported injuries. According to sources, the Indian Railways indicated that the train would be deployed soon after a thorough assessment.

The coach carried 20-22 people and quickly transferred to other coaches. According to the official, no one was injured in the event.
The C-12 coach’s battery box caught fire around 6:45 am, alerting railway personnel to the incident for the first time. The Rani Kamalapati-Hazrat Nizamuddin Vande Bharat train was promptly stopped between Kurwai and Kaithora stations in Vidisha district when the flames were detected, according to authorities, who spoke to PTI.
The Vande Bharat Express
The Vande Bharat Express is a semi-high-speed rail project that will debut in 2019 on the New Delhi-Varanasi route. These trains are operated and managed by the Indian Railways, also known as Train 18. The better domestic “Kavach” Technology, also known as the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), is found on the Vande Bharat Express trains.
These trains have reclining seats on airplanes, an entertainment system, and automatic doors, to mention a few amenities. Although they are now moving at a pace of 160 km per hour, they have a top speed of 180 km per hour. The train’s coaches are also fitted with fire detection and communication systems.
