Jyotiraditya Scindia declared shortly after the flight’s takeoff, “In 2014, Uttar Pradesh had only six airports. Today, the state has ten airports, including Ayodhya airport. The UP will have five more airports by the following year. Inaugurating in the upcoming month will be one airport each in Azamgarh, Aligarh, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Chitrakoot. By the end of this year, Jewar will also have an international airport operational. He said that on December 30, IndiGo and Air India Express launched their inaugural service between Ayodhya and Delhi.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, was given the boarding pass for the inaugural tri-weekly aircraft between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya during the opening event. The Uttar Pradesh government has implemented a comprehensive plan that includes cutting-edge security and traffic control measures for the revered “Pran Pratishta” ritual in Ayodhya.

Passengers Dressed As Ram, Hanuman To Catch Ayodhya Flight

The first direct flight left from Ahmedabad to Ayodhya in the early morning today. Four of its passengers arrived dressed as Lord Ram, Lakshman, Sita, and Hanuman. Even direct flights from Mumbai are also expected to start soon, the top airline official said last week.

Vigilant surveillance is ensured by integrating 1500 public CCTV cameras across the city with the Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS). Interestingly, 10,715 AI-based cameras with face recognition will be installed in Ayodhya’s yellow zone. These cameras will be easily connected with ITMS and overseen by a central control center. This calculated action intends to improve general security and surveillance in strategic regions.

Teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been sent to support emergency response capabilities. Regular boat patrols by SDRF teams will highlight safety precautions, including life jackets and navigators’ required ID cards, while sternly forbidding intoxication of any kind.

Ayodhya Railway Precautions

The Railway Protection Force will increase security at Ayodhya Railway Station from January 27 to February 15. In addition, all tent cities have fire brigade measures to guarantee prompt reactions to unforeseen incidents.

Police will patrol the entire city, and anyone from outside must undergo rigorous verification processes. An additional line of defense against potential airborne threats has been added by installing an anti-drone system supervised by the Special Security Force (SSF).
