One such case of a guy scamming his date who tried to scam him has gone viral on the internet.

A guy named Jay took to X to share his “Tinder” experience. He shared screenshots of how his Tinder date Yami was trying to scam him by asking Rs 1000 for temporary needs. He devised a plan and scammed Yami back.

Yami insisted Jay switch to WhatsApp from Tinder. In doing so, she asked for Rs 1000 for temporary needs and promised to return in a few hours. She shared her Google Pay with Jay. Recognizing the potential scam, Jay pulled a smart move and informed her about how he was unable to make the transactions. He asked his Tinder date to send him Rs 20 to check if his Gpay can receive the amount. On receiving the money Jay blocked the date and spilled water on the plans of the scammer.

Some of them hilariously taunted him by stating that he should have asked for at least Rs 200, while others praised him by stating how modern problems need modern solutions.
