Jeep India has launched the 2025 Meridian SUV, with a minor facelift and several enhanced features. The launch was done on Monday and the starting price is Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This SUV is an updated avatar with 5-seater and 7-seater options. The market is comparing it to the rival, Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster. The new Avatar Meridian is available in four trims: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited, and Overland.
Jeep Meridian Design And Features
When we talk about design 2025, the Jeep Meridian sports, a refreshed front fascia. The LED headlight now sits above a redesigned black section while a chrome strip has been added to the lower part in front of the bumper. However, the SUV retains its signature seven-slot grille at the rear. The updated LED tail lights, feature, satin, chrome, and essence, which are complemented by a horizontal chrome bar. The side profile with a Trapezoidal wheel arches, adds the rugged yet stylish appeal of the vehicle.
Interior
Talking about the interior, the Meridian is available in both 5 and 7-seater comfort. The cabin features upgraded materials that include vegan leather and vegan leather accents with copper stitching for a touch of luxury. Soft touch materials are generously used on the seats, dashboard, and armrest, and enhance the overall experience of the buyer.
They have made significant upgrades to the dashboard as well. It boasts a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, alongside a 10.1-inch full HD touchscreen in 14 main systems. The lather includes built-in navigation and wireless support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Wait! They have more in tech which includes wireless smartphone charging, multiple USB ports, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 9-speaker alpine audio system, an electric adjustable front seat, and a panoramic sunroof.
Jeep Meridian Engine
The facelift Meridian continues to be powered by a 2L, diesel engine with an output of 167 Bhp at 3750 rpm and 350 Nm at 1752 to 2500 rpm. It is made with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic torque converter. It comes in dual train mode 4×2 and 4×4. Jeep has ABS with EBD, six airbags, electric parking brakes, and more. The aggressively priced 5 and 7-seater Jeep Meridian directly competes with its rivals, Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Skoda Kodiaq.
Jeep Meridian comes in four variants Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland. The prices are in the range of Rs 24.99 lakh to Rs 38.5 lakh.
