As per the reports, an intruder entered his home around 2:30 AM. Saif’s hands were bound, and he was stabbed in the spine, neck, and hands six times. Luckily, Saif was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital.

Extending my inquiry further, some of the hospital employees assured that Saif’s life was no longer at serious risk. According to Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, the actor underwent a 2.5-hour neurosurgery and plastic surgery. It was observed that Saif had a leakage of spinal fluid, severely injuring his spine during the attack. He had bruises on his hands and neck, which were treated with plastic surgery.
During the briefing, the hospital announced that Saif is in a stable health state and is recuperating briskly. Three attendants who work at Saif’s house have been arrested and detained in connection with the incident.

On Thursday afternoon, Saif Ali Khan’s team issued an official statement thanking the doctors. They conveyed that,
“Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress.”
“All family members are safe and the police are investigating the incident.
“We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr. Leena Jain, and the team at Lilavati Hospital.
“Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time.“
Mumbai Crime Branch Investigates Saif Ali Khan’s Brutal Attack
The Mumbai Crime Branch and the local police have initiated a detailed investigation into the incident. The Crime Branch has narrowed it down to one person who might be responsible for the attack.
According to the reports, the intruder climbed the wall of the building next door to Saif’s house to enter the premises. The attacker was able to gain access to the actor’s house while he was asleep. A struggle ensued, during which Saif received several stab wounds on the upper half of his body. The attacker fled the scene after stabbing him six times.
The unidentified person has been reported to the police, and an FIR has been filed at Bandra Police Station. Meanwhile, three of Saif’s attendants have been detained for questioning regarding the incident.
The Mumbai Crime Branch is handling a parallel investigation to uncover more details of this horrifying incident.
Kareena Kapoor’s Team Issues Statement On Saif Ali Khan’s Attack
Kareena Kapoor’s team also said that the rest of the family is doing fine. The statement read,
“There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request the media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the Police are already doing their due investigations. Thank you all for your concern.”
Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, stated,
“Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an unidentified person at his Bandra home and was brought into the hospital around 3.30 am.”
Saif Ali Khan was operated by a good medical team under the supervision of neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange and Dr. Leena Jain and a cosmetic surgeon with anesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi. The team was also able to perform the required processes to treat the severe injuries Saif sustained during the attack.
The couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, along with sons Taimur and Jeh, had only come back to Mumbai the previous week having spent New Year’s Eve in Switzerland. As Saif is recovering and is stable. However, he is currently in ICU under observation. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the support of fans and the press. While this incident has shocked many, with Saif now in stable condition, the family remains optimistic about his full recovery.
