In a world full of grumpy businessmen who are only concerned about doubling their digits, there are a few exemplary humanitarians. One such example is Mr. Anand Mahindra. He is the chairman of the Mahindra Group. It is a Mumbai based business conglomerate. They operate in various fields such as aerospace, agribusiness, aftermarket, automotive. They also operate in components, construction equipment, defense and so on.
He is an active user of Twitter. And is often seen sharing opinions and views and stories. He interacts with people via Twitter. And when he comes across stories of people who deserve a helping hand, he makes sure that they don’t go unnoticed. Here are a few such instances.

This lucky man caught his attention. And he was so impressed by the way he presented himself. And that he even tweeted saying, “This man should be teaching marketing at the Indian Institute of Management…”

He used Twitter to track him. And had his team meet the man. When offered money, the man had asked for a workspace. Which was granted! His design team was asked to set up a functional and yet aesthetic kiosk for the ‘Shoe Doctor‘.
2. Honored Paralympian Mariyappan Thangavelu

Seeing Mariyappan Thangavelu’s exemplary performance in the Paralympics. Twitter took it to Anand Mahindra and requested him to gift him a car.
He surely did acknowledge the request. Not only did he gift a car, he also added Rs. 10 Lacs. That too from his personal account. It surely was a #Rise moment!
3. Auto Modified As Scorpio
This auto driver had modified the back of his Auto. Moreover, like the back of a Mahindra Scorpio. The picture caught Anand Mahindra’s attention. Soon, he tweeted asking his followers for help to locate this auto driver.

He offered to buy the auto for his museum. And, in return give him 4 wheels! And as expected, Twitter did its job. Soon, they located the driver. Here’s what happened next,

He gifted the man a brand new Mahindra Supro. Which, can be used commercially similar to an Auto. Good luck to the auto driver!
4. Food Truck Expansion
Back in 2015, 34-Year-Old Shilpa was going through some financial crisis. She had purchased a Mahindra Bolero pick up truck. And, used it as a Food truck and started making and selling delicacies. Soon, This was tweeted to Anand Mahindra and the generous man, as always, took it to his hands. And, helped the woman expand her business.
He tweeted saying,

5. The Pothole Artist
This was an initiative by Baadal Nanjundaswamy. He used art to deal with the pothole problems in his city. He added a life-size crocodile in a pothole with water. And, it sure did draw him a lot of attention. He also made several other arts with other potholes. Here’s how Anand Mahindra supported him,
