8. Mint Ball Wins Matches
Former England Batsman Marcus Trescothick in 2005 in his biography said that He used Mint Induced Saliva on the ball in order to win the match against Australia. As a result, they won the match by 2-1. However, no charges were initiated as his biography was released after he long retired from matches.
9. Ball Rubbed On Zippers
In 2013, Faf Du Plessis was charged with rubbing the ball along on Zippers of his pants on a match against Pakistan. The on-field empires awarded Pakistan with 5 runs and changed the ball. But later he was charged with half of his match fee.
10. Mysterious Object To Tamper The Ball
Last but not the least, we have the most Interesting and latest Ball Tampering Incident that has happened with Australian Batsman Cameron Bancroft. He was caught rubbing an unknown yellow object on the ball and then hiding it in his trousers. The Interesting part is that Team captain Steve Smith and Bancroft both admitted to the charges of ball tampering. Captian was charged with 100% of his match fee whereas Bancroft was charged with 75% of it.
