5. The Silent Valley

Idukki offers an awe-thrilling scenery with a picturesque setup occupied by mountains and rivers dotting the entire place. The mesmerizing-hypnotizing aroma of the spices along with an adorable climate awaits you at Idukki. Some of its delicacies are Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary, Idukki Arch Dam, Waterfall at Keezar Kuthu, and the sprawling tea and spice plantations.
7. Thekkady
Thekkady resembles the backyard of its abode that is Kerala. Very well known by its historical side, the Surki dam is a major landmark. The Tiger Reserves situated in Thekkady has its own wild side and is a major attraction. The blooming period of this heaven on Earth is from September to May.
8. Lakkidi
Lakkidi is a quite free space where the visitors can roam as free spirits in order to connect with mother nature. This place is not that big as all of the above, in fact, this is one of the reasons that boost the number of visitors to this place. The best time to pay a visit to Lakkidi is the winter season as cool weather boosts the beauty of this place.

A small yet adorable hill station named after a Sufi saint named Peer Mohammed, Peermade is an abode to several tribes that are extremely friendly such that visitors may indulge into them in order to have a closer and detailed look onto their lives. Kuttikkanam, Thrissanku Hills, Peru Hills, Grampi and Pattumala are some of the crucial landmarks to visit here.

Lying in Pathanamthitta district, Gavi leaves no reason to be not known as an adventurous natural water park! The reason we may say so is all the thrilling activities namely River rafting, trekking, wildlife exploration, Bird watching, Camping, staying in the treehouse, and backwoods safaris. It is a must destination for those who are not that into traveling and get bored easily! The best period to pay a visit to Gavi is from September to February.
