Today at 6:04 p.m., the Chandrayaan-3 moon mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation made a flawless soft landing. Days after the Russian probe Luna-25 crashed in the same area, India made history by being the first country to land the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft of the Indian Space Research Organisation on the Moon’s south pole.
On July 14, Chandrayaan-3 was launched. Only the United States, Russia, and China have previously landed gently on the surface of the Earth’s sole natural satellite.
