Christina Grimmie's publicist confirmed with utter sadness that the singer has indeed passed away.
She died on June 10th in the night.
She was shot in a concert in Orlando. She couldn’t survive the wounds, unfortunately. Her publicist has requested the public to respect the family’s privacy and not pester them with questions constantly.
The male suspect who shot her strangely proceeded to shoot himself as well. He is said to have walked towards Christina and shot her. Her brother came forwarded and stopped the suspect from causing further damage to Christina or attack any of her fans. While struggling with her brother, he shot himself.
In 2014, she participated in season 6 of The Voice. Her brilliant singing caused all the four judges to turn their chairs around, but she ended up going Adam Levine's team and went on to the finals, thereby finishing in the third place.
