Cody Rhodes finished his story at Night 2 in Wrestlemania XL and won the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Roman Reigns. First of all, WWE is not the same now. It is now Triple H era, and we are just loving it. After Vince McMahon stepped down, Triple H took over, and my God, what a main event we have witnessed. It was one of the craziest and most electrifying Wrestlemania main events ever. Roman Reigns was the champion for the record 1316 days. Finally, Cody Rhodes ended the reign of Roman Reigns and became the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship for the first time.

Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble in two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024, and the main event Wrestlemania. Last year, he lost to Roman Reigns, of course, due to interference from Solo Sikoa. This year at Night 1, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins lost the tag team match against Roman Reigns and The Rock at Night 1 of Wrestlemania XL. At Night 2, the main event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns became the Bloodline Rules match (you can call it no disqualification, no countout, anything goes).

During the main event, Jimmy Uso comes to help Roman Reigns, but he is kicked down by his twin brother, Jey Uso. Solo Sikoa arrives and delivers Samoan spike. But Cody Rhodes kicks out. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa deliver Samoan Spike and Spear together. Still, Cody Rhodes kicks out.

John Cena’s music hits, and out comes Cena; he delivers Attitude Adjustment to Roman Reigns in the ring and Solo Sikoa at the announce table. The Final Boss, The Rock, arrives next. The Rock and John Cena faceoff, and the audience started chanting Yes, Yes. The Rock quickly delivers Rock Bottom to John Cena. He takes out Mama Rhodes’s belt, and The Shield music hits. The audience went crazy; it was Seth Rollins in The Shield attire with a chair. But Roman Reigns delivers him with a Superman punch followed by a chair shot.

When it seemed that, once again, The Rock and Roman Reigns had overpowered Cody Rhodes, the gong rings, lights went off, and the WWE universe went insane. OMG, It’s The Undertaker. He delivers Chokslam to The Rock. Cody Rhodes then delivers three Cross Rhodes to Roman Reigns. One, Two, Three, we have a new WWE Undisputed Universal Championship, Cody Rhodes.

Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, LA Knight, and others all came out to celebrate with Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes handed over the title to his mother. It was one of the most emotional moments at Wrestlemania and one of the best Wrestlemania events you have witnessed in recent times.
