Prostitution in Brazil is not a crime, but operating a house of prostitution is punishable according to the current Penal Code.
8. Canada
Prostitution is limitedly legal in Canada. Selling sex is legal, but buying sex is illegal following the implementation of House Government Bill C-36 of 2014.
9. Colombia
The law doesn’t prohibit the existence of zones in which prostitution is exercised. The law protects those who exercised prostitution with public health measures.
10. Cuba
A person who practiced prostitution is not committing a crime under the law of Cuba. There is legislation against pimps, sexual exploitation of minors, and pornography.
Cuba prohibited many forms of human trafficking through various provisions of its Penal Code. Children aged 16 and older are allowed for prostitution. It leaves children vulnerable to sex trafficking.
