Mexico Vs Sweden

The match took place at Ekaterinburg Arena. The score at halftime was 0 – 0 despite several attempts by both teams. Sweden scored the first goal at the 50th minute. Ludwig Augustinsson scored the first goal for the team giving the country the lead. It was followed by Andreas Granqvist’s penalty goal at the 62nd minute which made the score 2 – 0, with Sweden in the lead. Following that, it was an own goal by Mexico as Edson Alvarez put the ball into his own net while attempting clearance. Sweden won with a 3 – 0 lead.

 

South Korea Vs Germany

The match took place at Kazan Arena. The score at halftime was 0 – 0 despite several attempts by both teams. Kim Young Gwon scored the first goal for Soth Korea at the extra time, which ended up as a game changer, a pleasant one for South Korea and a very devastating one for Germany. Following him, another goal was scored by Son Heung-min and South Korea won the game with a 2 – 0 lead. Germany got knocked out of the games.

 

Switzerland Vs Costa Rica

The match took place at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. Switzerland scored first as Blerim Dzemaili landed a goal at the 31st minute. The score at halftime was 1 – 0, with Switzerland in the lead. Costa Rica caught up with Kendall Waston’s goal at the 56th minute. It was soon leveled by Josip Drmic’s goal from team Switzerland. Switzerland had the lead up until Swiz goalkeeper Yann Sommer gave off an own goal from the penalty which ended the game in a draw.

 

Serbia Vs Brazil

The match was held at Spartak Stadium. Paulinho scored first at the 36th minute giving Brazil the lead. The score was 1 – 0 with Brazil in the lead during the halftime. Furthermore, Thiago Silva scored the second goal for Brazil at the 68th minute giving Brazil a 2 – 0 lead over Serbia. The score remained the same until the end of the match and it was a clean win for Brazil.
