Croatia scored first as Ante Rebic scored a goal at the 53rd minute. In addition, He gave the team the lead which was made even stronger as Luka Modric scored another one at the 80th minute. Croatia also went on to score another one, as Ivan Rakitic scored a goal at the extra time. It was a surprising defeat for Argentina with 0 goals and a stunning victory for Croatia with 3 goals.
