27th July is one of the most fateful days in the history of India. On this day in 2015, while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong, Dr. Kalam collapsed and left us due to an apparent cardiac arrest. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was the 11th president of the Republic of India.
Dr. Kalam is considered as the father of India’s missile defense program. He was one of India’s most-loved presidents who was especially popular with children. He was honored with Bharat Ratna for his selfless services in the field of Science and Technology.
