Ellyse Perry wasted no time to rush towards the boundary fences to check the boy. She called for medics to help the boy out and by that time other players of Sydney Sixers have been arrived. Team physio checked the boy. When Perry was assured of the safety of the injured boy, she came back to the pitch and resumed the play. Sydney Sixers managed to put 242/2 on the boards till their innings ended. Ellyse Perry scored blasting 91 runs of just 49 deliveries.

Chasing the huge total, the Melbourne Stas Women came up short and their final score was 156/7. This makes the Sydney Sixers Women win the match as well as hearts.
