5. Table Manners
If you’re seated at a table with a few strangers, don’t strike up a conversation with them before they’ve been introduced to you; it’s considered impolite. Also, keep an eye on your side. Instead of placing them on the table, it is preferable to put them on your lap. Placing your phone on the table communicates your disinterest in the conversation.
6. Men And Women
There must be a mediator as a matter of simple common courtesy when meeting others. Consider a mutual friend who may be asked to start a conversation between two or more people. A man should never take a woman’s purse if you’re attempting to assist. He is only allowed to take a woman’s coat to the cloakroom.
7. Etiquette Rules For Drinking Tea
People invite each other for a cup of tea to get to know each other better and have a better conversation. It would be best if you did not refuse the invitation; doing so may be considered impolite. Remember a few laws. Make sure your tea is thoroughly mixed without making a noise with the teaspoon. It’s not a good idea to leave your spoon in the cup. Please keep it in one of the saucer’s corners. It is not a good idea to leave the spoon on top of the saucer. With one hand, a teacup is raised, while the other holds a saucer. Holding a cup in both hands and leaving the saucer on the table is impolite.
8. Etiquette Rules At A Restaurant
If you say to a friend before going to a restaurant, “I invite you,” it means that you should pay. You pay for yourself in the sentence “Let’s go to a restaurant together.” Most of us do not even remember the name of the cutleries which we use at the restaurant. These are the basic cutleries whose name we should know.
1 – A napkin. 2 – A salad fork. 3 – A fork. 4 – A plate. 5 – A salad plate. 6 – A knife. 7 – A teaspoon. 8 – A soup spoon. 9 – A cup and a saucer (dessert). 10 – A glass of white wine. 11 – A glass of red wine. 12 – A glass of water. 13 – A dessert spoon. 14 – A dessert fork. 15 – A dessert knife. 16 – A plate for bread.

Women need to know that their lipstick won’t leave smudges on their glasses. Before drinking, use a paper towel to dry your mouth.
Everyone at the table pours their own drinks. A man should give a woman drinks first.
To avoid spilling your drink on your clothes, don’t pour too much and particularly don’t overfill the wine glasses.
