Netmeds
Reliance Retail is active in the pharmaceutical industry via Netmeds. Netmeds is a Chennai-based e-pharmacy that caters to consumers’ requirements both online (via a digital platform) and offline (with freestanding storefronts). According to the Economic Times, Reliance Retail paid over Rs 620 crore for a 60% interest in Netmeds’ parent company Vitalic in 2020. Reliance Retail reportedly also acquired 100% direct equity control of Netmeds’ subsidiaries.
Ajio
AJIO, Reliance Retail’s fashion and lifestyle e-commerce business, debuted at the Lakme Fashion Week SS16. AJIO’s yearly gross merchandise value in 2023 was $2 billion (roughly Rs crore). This was purportedly made possible by Reliance Retail’s collaboration (as an official retailer in India) with foreign brands like GAP. In 2022, Reliance Retail opened AZORTE fashion outlets, which are also accessible online on AJIO. Reliance’s collaboration helped many businesses grow.
Tira Beauty
From medicines to beauty, Isha Ambani has diverse brands in her possession. Tira, a global cosmetics retail platform led by Isha Ambani, was launched in April 2023. Tira Beauty curates international and local beauty brands. It is home to several premium beauty brands, like Versace, Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo, and more.
Hamleys
In 2019, Reliance Brands Limited (100% ownership) bought Hamleys. Hamley’s is the world’s oldest and biggest toy retailer. The purchase was for £67.96 million.

Adding another layer of fashion, Isha Ambani owns Cover Story. Cover Story is India’s first fashion brand, to introduce world couture to India’s high streets. Cover Story is a London-based design studio.
Freshpik
Freshpik is a gourmet brand that debuted in 2021. Its one store is located in Mukesh Ambani’s Jio World Drive in BKC, Mumbai. It caters to grocery demands.
