6. Sanjukta Parashar
Sanjukta, who is the first IPS officer from Assam completed her graduation in Political Science from the Indraprastha College, New Delhi. She has been a nightmare for militants and criminals in Assam. She is making headlines for her immense courage and incredible work of fighting against the Bodo militants of Assam. Sanjukta is married to Puru Gupta who is an IAS officer. Currently, she is posted as superintendent of Police at Sonitpur.
7. Roshan Jacob
Roshan who belongs to Kerala cleared the UPSC exam in the year 2004 and presently, she is the district magistrate of Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh.
8. Vandana Preyasi
Vandana is a district magistrate of Siwan, Bihar. She set an example by taking a stand against crimes.
9. Vimla Mehra
Vimla is the first woman to attain the post of Special Commissioner Police of country. She is the one who launched a women helpline number 1091 along with promoting self defence programmes for them. She is the second officer after Kiran Bedi who headed Tihar Jail as Director General in the year 2012.
10. B. Chandrakala
The lady IAS officer hails from Andhra Pradesh. Chandrakala belongs to a tribal family and lived her dreams against all odds. She publicly pulled up civic officials and contractors for sub-standard road construction. Chandrakala has now been appointed as the director of `Swacch Bharat Mission` and deputy secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation. She has worked extensively for ‘Clean India’ campaign while she was discharging her duties as the DM of Bulandshahr, Bijnor, and Meerut.
It needs guts to stand against criminal activities. Not every IAS and IPS officer has it. If everyone works like these people, there won’t be any crime in India.
