After notifications of new regulations and policies, the airlines of the world also experience a new modification. On Thursday, the price of ATF was increased by 2%, leading to an increase in the price of flight tickets. The pricing of commercial LPG used by hotels and restaurants was increased by Rs 6.5 per 19-kg cylinder in the monthly modification. This is under international oil price trends. Flight Tickets To Get Expensive Because Of ATF Price Hike
According to a price notification issued by state-owned fuel dealers, the price of aviation turbine fuel in Delhi has increased by Rs 1,827.34 per kilolitre, or 1.9%, to Rs 97,975.72 per kl. The revised ATF rates for domestic airlines in Delhi are ₹97,975.72/kl. The ATF rate in Mumbai jumped to Rs 91,650.34 per kilo on Thursday, up from Rs 89,908.31 earlier. The government has raised jet fuel (ATF) prices to ₹1,00,520.88/kl in Kolkata and ₹1,01,632.08/kl in Chennai. Domestic airlines’ international flight fuel prices will now be $891.80/kl in Delhi, $930.50/kl in Kolkata, $891.06/kl in Mumbai, and $886.64/kl in Chennai. These prices differ by state and depend on local taxes. The petrol and diesel prices will remain the same despite the ATF price hike. These will be effective from August 1, 2024.
