G20 Summit: Noida, Delhi, Gurugram Borders Closed Till Sep 10; Check Vehicular, Traffic Restrictions Here

The whole New Delhi district would be regarded as “controlled Zone-I” from Thursday midnight to Sunday midnight due to the G20 meeting taking place in the nation’s capital. Heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles cannot enter Delhi from the Noida border during the summit. The said limitations are in effect from September 7 at 5 PM to September 10 at 11:59 PM. Noida, Ghaziabad, and the Delhi-NCR region are the areas that will be under effect. However, only legitimate inhabitants, authorized automobiles, and vehicles used for hotels, hospitals, and other significant installations in the New Delhi District would be permitted.

 

Delhi Border Restrictions For G20 Summit

  • At each of the five sites where Ghaziabad and Delhi share a boundary, commercial vehicle access will be prohibited. The UP-Maharajpur boundary, Seemapuri border, Tulsi Niketan border, Loni border, and  Khajuri Pushta roads are the five sites mentioned.
  • Under the Delhi Police’s no-entry permission, all goods vehicles hauling necessities like milk, produce, fruits, and medical supplies would be allowed to drive through Noida.
  • Heavy lorries can enter Delhi at the Chilla border by turning around at the red light and further continuing on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
  • Cars using the DND Flyway to enter Delhi may make a U-turn at the DND Toll Plaza and travel on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
  •  At the first underpass tri-section of the Yamuna River, goods vehicles from the Kalindi Kunj Yamuna border will be rerouted.
  • Vehicles traveling from the New Ashok Nagar border will travel on the DSC Road through Golchakkar Chowk Sector 15 to get to their destination.
  • Heavy, medium, and light freight vehicles from the Gautam Buddh Nagar district are not permitted to utilize the Yamuna Expressway.
  • Vehicles departing from Pari Chowk can connect to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway at Honda Seal Chowk and Sirsa Golchakkar.

 

Vehicular And Traffic Restrictions

  • Heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles traveling to Delhi via the Eastern Peripheral via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be restricted near Sirsa Loop. However, Goods vehicles entering Gautam Budh Nagar under no-entry provisions will be the exceptions.  Instead, people traveling from Meerut, Hapur, and Ghaziabad to Agra, Mathura, and Lucknow will use NH-91.
  • The EPE from the Dasna junction will be used by vehicles coming from Hapur. Such cars won’t be permitted to travel in the direction of Delhi.
  • Furthermore, Rajiv and IFFCO Chowk will be closed. The traffic will be detoured along Old Delhi-Gurgaon Road to reach Terminal 3. To get to the airport, they will approach Urban Extension Road 2 and then exit onto the expressway’s service road.
