Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India has finally come up with the electric scooter. Honda has finally entered the EV market in India. The manufacturers have unveiled the two EV models which are Activa e and the QC1.
Honda Activa e And QC1 Availability
Honda Activa e and QC1 models will be available for booking in January 2025 with delivery expected in February 2025. Both models are manufactured at the Honda Narsapura plant in Karnataka. Honda has come up with a modern and sleek design with a comfortable look. The front headlamp is integrated with two indicators and LED DRLs, adding a futuristic touch to the electric vehicle.
Honda Activa e, QC1 Battery And Performance
Talking about the battery performance of Activa e, it has around 1.5 kWh swappable batteries. It provides a total capacity of 3wh with a power of 8 Bhp and 22 nm of torque. It can accelerate up from 0-60 kmph in just 7.3 seconds. The model offers three riding modes Econ, Standard, and Sport. The company claims that on a single charge, it can go up to 102 km.
Whereas the QC1 model runs on a 1.5 kWh battery offering a range of 80 km on a full charge. It features a home charging setup that allows you to charge it fully in 6 hours and 50 minutes. It reaches a capacity of 80% in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The QC1 reached a top speed of 50 kmph as it is powered by a 1.8 kW motor delivering 77 Nm of torque.
Features Of Activa e
Activa e comes with a 7-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, a music control system, navigation, and adapted brightness. The other key features are a smart key system, and battery swapping capabilities which will be initially available at Honda BeX stations in cities like Delhi, and Bengaluru and soon will be available in Mumbai.
Talking about colors, it offers Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Serenity Blue, and Matt Foggy Silver Metallic.
Features Of QC1
On the other hand, QC1 comes with a 5.0-inch LCD, a USB C-type charging port, with spacious 26-litre under-seat storage. It has two riding modes Econ and Standard. It will be available in five color options: Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Shallow Blue, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Misty White, and Pearl Igneous Black Colour.
Honda is also offering a 3-year per 50000 km warranty with three free services and complimentary roadside assistance for the first year on both models.
