Former Pakistan player Shahid Afridi got involved in a controversy over his remarks on Kashmir and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His comments created a massive outrage on social media. Shahid Afridi recently visited Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).
He spoke to the crowd in POK and said,
“I am at your beautiful village, I am very delighted. I was planning to visit you all for a long time. The world is currently infected by such a big disease. But the bigger disease is in Modi’s mind.
I will request Pakistan Cricket Board to introduce a team from Kashmir in PSL in the next season. I wish to play my last PSL season as a captain from the team of Kashmir. I hope they will support me at their full if I play for them in PSL.”
