Considered to be one of the safest places in India for women to go out, 4189 rape cases were registered in 2016. The state has two cities in the top ten cities with most rape cases registered in Mumbai (712) and Pune (354).
2. Uttar Pradesh
A total of 4,816 cases registered in UP state. The majority of the rapes were allegedly done by people known to the victims. Out of 4816 rape cases, in 4803 cases, the accused were known the victim.
1. Madhya Pradesh
MP is the most unsafe state for women with 4,882 rape cases registered in the state in 2016. And when it comes to justice, the victims of rape and sexual assault or any other crime for that matter have to wait for a year to get justice.
The only solution for this problem is, every parent especially mother should bring up their son or daughter in a proper way. If you have a daughter, bring up her with ethics and teach how to dress well and behave with others. If you have a son, then bring up him with ethics and teach him how to see a mother in every woman.
