Founded by Pranav Roy and Radhika Roy. Chanel was found guilty in several conspiracies and frauds but still maintained a good Viewership along with the anchors like Barkha Dutt and Ravish Kumar.

Currently owned by Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd based in Mumbai. MTV is the oldest and one of its unique kind of music network across Asia. MTV India is the Indian version of MTV. It started with music shows but now MTV India has a great focus on reality shows matching with the global trends.
9. Life Ok
Life ok is Indian Channel operates in Hindi. It is the part of Star and owned by 21st-century fox. Launched in 18th December in 2011. It came into existence by replacing Star India, in 2017 it went through an identity change and now known as Star Bharat.
10. Sahara One
Sahara one is an Indian channel operates in Hindi and owned by Sahara India Pariwar. Shara one was launched in 2000 and renamed as Sahara Manoranjan in 2004. A year late it re-changed its name to Shara One. It operates with its sister channel Filmy in various countries including United Kindom.
11. Zindagi TV
Zee tv owned Zindgi was a short run Indian Tv channel. It used to broadcast several shows syndicated from Brazil, Pakistan, and many other countries. ZEEL invested almost 100 crores to launch this channel in 2014. after three years of a successful journey, it has closed its television broadcasting and turned out as digital channel available on Ozee app.
So in a unique country like India with almost 26 primary languages, Indian Television has gone through many changes.
