It seems some men don’t have any work other than harassing women by sending vulgar messages online. Not only teenagers but also men aged between 30 to 45 stalk at girls who should see them as their daughter.
These days we need to use mobile phones and social media for several purposes and using mobile phones is increasingly getting traumatic for women in the country. In the past 5 years cyber-bullying has increased by a large percent and it is mostly among the teenagers. Sending mean messages via email or texts is the most common way of cyber-bullying.

Strangers somehow obtain phone numbers and harass women. Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur has the highest instances of such harassing calls on a weekly basis. Mobile phone numbers of girls are sold for pittance to men who sexually harass them over calls in Uttar Pradesh.
Indians receive the most number of unwanted spam or marketing calls, blank calls on average every month. Most of the women block such numbers or install call-blocking apps instead of approaching police as there will be no use even they approach. According to survey, it is revealed that only 10% approach the police.
According to data collected by Stockholm-based phone number identification app, True caller, sexually explicit texts messages, blank calls from strangers and stalkers are affecting thousands of women across India.
True caller surveyed over 2,000 women who are aged between 15 and 35 across 15 Indian cities from January 20 to February 22.
In addition to eve-teasing and passing indecent comments in public spaces, stalkers are not letting women to stay peacefully even inside the boundaries of their homes.
