The cricket world is heading towards another IPL season. For the IPL Mega Auction 2025, the BCCI has released a detailed list of 574 players. The event is scheduled in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and November 25, 2024. The event will start at 3:30 PM IST.
574 Players Shortlisted
Interestingly, BCCI has trimmed the initial list of 1574 players and finalized only 574 for the upcoming IPL auction. The list has 366 Indian players and 208 overseas cricketers. The highest base price is Rs 2 crore, with 81 players on the top list.

Breakdown Of Player’s Category For IPL 2025
The highest price list has 81 players in the highest brackets of Rs 2 crore. These are the in-demand players. The list shown above for the IPL player reflects the star power. The players are listed in other reserve price brackets with the price of Rs 1.5 crore (27 players), Rs 1.25 crore (18 players), and Rs 1 crore (23 players). Some of them have been listed at the INR 30 lakh base price. All the 10 teams recently revealed their list of retained and released players ahead in the IPL Mega Auction. The IPL Mega Auction will have the bidding wars between the franchises for the next IPL season. The two-day auction timing will start at 3:30 PM IST. Those two days will be the biggest days for Indian cricket fans as they can enjoy India’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test series against Australia in the morning and the IPL Mega Auction during the afternoon and evening.
