The practice of applying cake on the face during a birthday party has brainwashed the Indians. This over jovial expression is indeed ridiculous. It is a sheer waste of food that is considered very pure in India.

A gazetted officer is the one who works for the state/central government. The practice was followed by Britishers who did not trust the Indians for ay documentation work. But even after seven decades of Independence Indians continue devoutly.
13. Reality TV Shows
While reality shows have a great fan following the idea was adopted from the western countries. Not every reality show is a problem but some like BigBoss, Roadies have turned into an addiction for most of the Indian youths.
14. Ragging
Ragging is pitiful. It has destroyed many young lives and has played with their self-esteem. It became popular in European countries where the seniors liked to play some practical jokes with the freshmen so as to welcome them. But it has become a lot uglier and is followed in most of the Indian Universities.
