Kevin Pietersen, one of the finest batsmen in England cricket, shared legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid’s email with the England openers on playing spin bowling in subcontinent pitches. One of the greatest Test series between India and Australia over with India won the series 2-1. All thanks to the new Indian players and Rahul Dravid for preparing them. Even former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq applauded Rahul Dravid for preparing players.
Now, India is ready to welcome England in February for the full tour includes 4 Tests, 5 T20s, and 3 ODIs. England is currently playing against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka. The England openers are struggling against the spin bowling. The subcontinent grounds are known for their turning tracks that help the spinners. Dom Sibley and Zak Crawley, England openers, are unable to play well against the spin bowling. Sri Lankan spinner Lasith Embuldeniya manage to scalp both the batsmen in the two Tests.
On Saturday, Kevin Pietersen offered tips to the English batsmen to tackle spin bowling in the subcontinent. He told Zak Crawley and Dom Sibley to check Rahul Dravid’s email on how to play spin. It helped him to change his game. Kevin wrote in his tweet,

During Kevin Pietersen’s career, there was a patch when he was struggling against spinners. He opted to reach out to Rahul Dravid for some advice. Rahul Dravid sent a two-page length email to Kevin Pietersen on he can play spin better. Kevin has also described the whole incident in his book titled “KP: The Autobiography.” Later in a tweet, he shared the same letter written by India’s batting legend Rahul Dravid and wrote,

Rahul Dravid is one of the most simple and down-to-earth cricketers the game has ever witnessed. England tour will start from February 5. The first two Test matches will be played in Chennai, followed by the last two in the new Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both the teams are announced for the first two Tests.
