The government in Maharashtra has recently announced a new welfare scheme for boys after the welfare scheme for girls, Ladli Behan Yojna was successful. On the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, CM Shinde paid a visit to the Vitthal temple located in Pandharpur. He informed the media about the new Ladla Bhai Yojna scheme following the Maha Puja. The Ladla Bhai Yojana is a new program designed for young boys who have completed their 12th grade. This welfare scheme aims to provide a stipend to boys based on their education level.

The youngsters will get a range of financial incentives under this scheme, contingent on their level of education. The government would provide young people who complete their 12th grade Rs 6,000 a month, those seeking a diploma Rs 8,000 a month, and graduates Rs 10,000 a month.

Youth participating in the Ladla Bhai initiative will serve a one-year apprenticeship in a factory, obtaining vital work experience that will help them land employment. This project, according to CM Shinde, intends to prepare a trained and skilled workforce. He underlined that no government had ever before implemented a program like this, and he said it would address the issue of unemployment.

The remark made by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Pandharpur today is significant since the Maharashtra Assembly elections are nearing. It is argued that, just months before the elections, the government made this announcement to win over the people. The scheme is also seen as a response to the opposition’s long-standing worries about the growing rate of youth unemployment in Maharashtra.

Aim Of The Scheme

This program aims to assist about one million young people. Apart from financial aid the scheme also helps them be a part of the skilled workforce. Several sources state that the Maharashtra government is projected to spend ₹10,000 crore on this plan in total.

“The scheme will provide skilled youth not only to the state’s industries but also to those across the country. The government will pay the youth during their apprenticeship to help them become proficient in their jobs,” Shinde stated.
