The top-of-the-line model with the 4-seater Lounge option costs Rs 2.50 crore and provides even more luxury. The LM 350h from Lexus now stands as the flagship model. It has surpassed its cousin, the Toyota Vellfire, priced at Rs 1.2 crore, making it the most expensive MPV in the nation.
- The Lexus LM comes in four- and seven-seat configurations.
- A 2.5-liter hybrid powerplant that can be charged on its own.
The Vellfire is the only vehicle that directly competes with the Lexus LM.
New Platform And Design
The Vellfire and Lexus LM use the same GA-K modular platform. Its massive spindle grille, svelte LED headlights, and vertical fog lamp housings are its main features. Moving to the sides, it has sliding rear doors and a sizable glasshouse with a slight curve at the B-pillar. The full-width LED taillight arrangement, which replaces the symbol with Lexus letters, is the MPV’s most striking feature on the back end. The dimensions of the LM are 1,890 mm in width, 1,945 mm in height, and 5,130 mm in length.
The Powertrain Of The Lexus LM
A 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder self-charging hybrid engine with an eCVT gearbox and a combined power output of 250 horsepower and 239 Nm powers the Lexus LM. A nickel metal hydride battery, reputed for its high output and fuel efficiency, functions harmoniously with the engine. Lexus’ E-Four all-wheel drive system is standard on the MPV.
