The match 36 of IPL 2018 was played between Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad. If we look at the league standings, the teams were completely mismatched. Sunrisers won the match by seven wickets in the very last over.

Prithvi Shaw was the chronic threat for Sunrisers Hyderabad and he missed no opportunity to punish the SRH bowlers. He scored 65 runs in 36 balls including 6 fours and 3 sixers. However, Rashid Khan struck the wicket of Shaw on the first bowl of eleventh over and made DD suffer their second loss on 95 runs.
SRH Bowlers Got Hold Over DD Batsmen
The SRH bowler put DD batsmen under the pressure after getting rid of Shaw. The score that was striding once then started to creep. To conclude, at the end of 20 overs, the DD scored 163/5. The team added only 68 runs in the last 10 overs.
Smooth Start For Sunrisers Hyderabad
The target was not that much huge to achieve for SRH’s batting line. The openers Shikhar Dhawan and Alex Hales started smooth and knocked 61 runs on the board in the powerplay overs. DD bowlers made some mistakes and Hales made them pay each time.
Amit Mishra Struck
The opening partnership added 76 runs in the first nine overs and undoubtedly, the team was in a comfortable position. But, Alex Hales was bowled by Amit Mishra. Hales scored 45 runs in 31 balls including 3 fours and 3 sixers. Mishra struck once again and bowled Shikhar Dhawan. This left SRH with two unset batsmen, Manish Pandey, and Kane Williamson. After the end of 15 overs, SRH scored 115/2.
Yusuf Pathan Changed The Flow Of The Match
The match reached the intense moment and SRH required 29 runs in the last two overs. Yusuf Pathan played a few big hits and stole the victory away from DD’s clutch. He scored 27 runs in 12 balls. Hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes, he led the team to victory by 7 wickets in 19.5 overs.
