Shikhar Dhawan Hit Half-Century
They pursued the partnership further and that eventually ease off the pressure from SRH. Both Shikhar and Kane scored half-centuries. Shikhar Dhawan scored 79 runs in 49 balls while Kane scored 51 off 39 balls. Both Shikhar and Kane got dismissed on consecutive deliveries. The score of SRH was 141/3 after 16 overs.
Deepak Hooda Finished Well
In the final overs, Deepak Hooda slammed the ball away on multiple occasions and pushed the score of SRH to 179/4. To conclude, Chennai Super Kings had a target of 180 runs before them.
CSK Openers Punished SRH Bowlers
Right from the beginning, the CSK openers punished the SRH bowlers. The SRH bowlers failed to get any wicket in the powerplay overs and the score was pushed to 53.
Watson Roared
The wrath of Watson and Rayudu continued on the SRH bowlers and both of the batsmen completed their half-century. Shane Watson was dismissed but it was too late for SRH to celebrate as the score was already 134 in the 13 overs.
Rayudu Hits A Century
Suresh Raina was dismissed earlier but Ambati Rayudu held his end. He along with MS Dhoni led the team to victory by 8 wickets. Ambati completed his century. He scored unbeaten 100 in 62 balls including 7 fours and 7 sixes. For his amazing performance, he was given the man of the match award.
