Shane Watson was dismissed in the seventh over. However, Ambati Rayudu was the embodiment of threat for DD. He scored 50 runs before being dismissed by Harshal Patel. Rayudu hit 4 fours and 4 sixes in his inning. After his dismissal, the DD bowlers put the pressure on CSK batsmen.

The target became hard to achieve for CSK. Ravindra Jadeja played some good shot however, it was too late. The match slipped from their hands. And finally, Delhi Daredevils registered the win by 34 runs.
