The project campaign’s objective is to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene. During the course of the project, Project Shakti, she visited around 20 villages and educated and treated around 5,000 women.
8. Manushi Is Very Fond Of Acting
Manushi Chhilar has attended the National School of Drama and she is soon making her Bollywood debut opposite none other than Akshay Kumar in the movie Prithviraj, releasing November 13, 2020.
9. CBSE Topper In English (12th Standard)
Manushi Chhillar was the brightest student during her school and college days. She was an All India CBSE Topper in English in the 12th standard. Beauty with brain.
According to Manushi Chhillar,
“As a kid, I always wanted to participate in the competition but I never knew I would make it this far. Winning the Miss World title is now not just my dream, but also that of my family and friends,”.
Going back to history, Reita Faria won the beauty title for the first time in 1966 from Asia. The next time India won the title in the year 1994 when Aishwarya Rai was crowned Miss World. Later, Indian beauties Diana Hayden in 1997, Yukta Mookhey in 1997, Priyanka Chopra in 2000 was crowned Miss World. And now, Manushi Chhillar won Miss World title.
Manushi competed against 108 contestants from various countries at a glittering event held at Sanya City Arena in China. India, England, France, Kenya, and Mexico grabbed the top five spots at the pageant. Manushi is the 6th Indian to win the coveted crown and has also won the Head to Head Challenge and the Beauty with a Purpose titles.
