Mohammed Siraj has shown amazing sportsmanship during the Indians vs Australia A tour match at Sydney. His heartwarming gesture is winning hearts and getting applauds from almost everyone. The incident happened when Australian player Cameron Green was bowling, Jasprit Bumrah was batting, and Mohammed Siraj was at the non-striker’s end.
Cameron Green was in his second spell of the tour match against Indians at the SCG. Jasprit Bumrah hits straight back to bowler Cameron Green and the ball cops out of his hand and hits him on the face. Mohammed Siraj drops his bat and ran straight back to Cameron Green. He did not care about his wicket and for him the player’s safety was of utmost importance. The Australian physio came and the medical staff came out to check on Cameron Green. After examining Cameron Green for a minute or two, he left the field for further medical assessment in the dressing room.
Cameron Green will not take further part in the tour match and he was replaced by Patrick Rowe under the concussion protocol. Check out the video below.
